Hamilton Real Estate Market Update November 2019
The November 2019 Stats are in!
From 2018 to 2019 it is evident that the number of sales has increased most prominently in West Hamilton, East Hamilton, Hamilton Center, Dundas, Waterdown, Glanbrook, Caledonia, Hagersville and Grimsby.
The average sale price has increased the most in Oneida at +48.90% and in Hagersville at +22.30%. The average sale price only decreased in five cities; those being Flamborough at a decrease of -16.05 %, Waterdown at -1.33%, Glanbrook at -0.62%, Cayuga at a decrease of -10.34% and Grimsby at -0.94%.
Overall, from 2018 to 2019 there has been an increase in sale prices of +6.17%. New listings have decreased by -13.68% and the average days on the market went down from 35.9 days to 30.9!
The average sale price of apartment-style properties increased the most at +8.83%. Following behind was detached properties at +4.38% and semi/townhouses at +4.17%.
From 2018 to 2019, all property styles for new listings decreased. The most significant being semi/townhouse properties at a decrease of -38.22%.
Fortunately, detached and semi/townhouses sold quicker with less time on the market. However, apartment-style properties were on the market +23.77% longer than in 2018 which is about 10 days more.
