Beach Boulevard is a thin piece of land east of the Hamilton Harbour that crosses Lake Ontario. Running parallel to the QEW and James N Allan Skyway Bridge, commuting from this neighbourhood is a breeze!
The first settlers of the bay called it Macassa, meaning beautiful waters. The waterfront is the perfect place for sailing, jogging and cycling. Nearby you can find the Joesph Brant Museum and historic lighthouse, as well as many other amenities including an art gallery, parks, restaurants, go-karts, a waterpark, and a campground.
The Beach Strip stretches from Spencer Smith Park in Burlington to Confederation Park in Hamilton. This strip of land was known to the aboriginal people in the area as Daonasedao, which translates to where the sand forms a bar.
