Grindstone Cascade

Grindstone Cascade is a complex curtain cascade waterfall measuring 3 metres (10 feet) tall and 5 metres (16 feet) wide. It has a year round flow, and is part of the rough ravine of the Grindstone Creek.


To reach Grindstone Cascade by car, drive along the 403 toward Toronto, exiting on Hwy 6 North. You will then exit on Hwy 5 North (Dundas Street East). Head east, then turn right on Mill Street. Keep driving until you come to Smokey Hollow Park on the right.


Great Falls is close to the parking lot. Grindstone Cascade is located on the Grindstone Creek beside the Bruce Trail, about a 15 minute walk downstream from the Great Falls on the Bruce Trail.
